Picnic In The Park!

We are so happy that Spring is here!
We spent last Thursday at Loose Park....we had a picnic, played outside, fed the geese, and just enjoyed the beautiful weather.  It was a lil' cloudy out but the temperature was perfect!
I am so looking forward to many more picnics in the park this Spring and Summer as I know the boys are as well!  We had the best time ever:)  Enjoy our pictures and feel free to join us on our next picnic at the park!

Happy Spring!!!

Sunshine!
Beautiful Flowers!
Perfect Weather!
Fluffy Bunnies and Lots of Love!
Picnic In The Park!
Walks, Car Rides, and Playtime!
And so, so much more:)

I love, love, love this time of the year!
Even though (knock on wood) we were very blessed with a mild winter...there is something about "Spring" that just feels SO good!  I always feel like I have a ton more energy and I am so much happier during this time of the year.  The weather has been AWESOME and I can't get enough of it!  I wish every day was like this.

I'm also loving the fact that it's staying light out longer and dark in the mornings.
The boys have been sleeping in until 8:30am and 9am (maybe because it's their Spring Break though?) instead of 6:45 or 7am.  It's nice to have that extra hour or two in the morning so I can help their Mom clean the house and get all my homework done!  It also prepares me for what craziness might be ahead of us for the day;)

Miles is going to be 3 years old next month!
So crazy.  Where did this cute lil' gerber baby go?!  (he's still cute...just has an opinion and an attitude now..haha!)  And Owen turned 4 years old in January.  Man, he has really matured and grown up so much.  I think pre-pre school has been good for him this year:)  Owen can write his name and his drawings actually make sense to me now;) haha!  Miles knows his colors and numbers really well now as well.  Just the other day he pointed to something and said, "There are 2 green lines and 1 orange!"  I have to say I was pretty impressed.  Before if you pointed to something he would just look at it and say, "geeeeen!"  (I think his favorite color was green because he was pretty sure everything was this color back in the day, haha!)  They are SO much fun, adorable, and definitely keep me on my toes.  These kiddos wear me out and some days I need a nice BIG glass of wine at the end of the work day but I sure do love them;)

I am so, so excited for this summer because there is so much I want to do with them this year.  It's actually nice as they are getting older...I don't have to worry about a stroller or diapers...or anything like that.  It makes doing activities and going places so much easier.

Of course going to the pool, library, and picnics in the park are on the top of the list but I'm hoping I'll get to take them to the Kansas City Zoo this summer, Wonderscope, Kaleidoscope, Deanna Rose Farmstead, and Powell Gardens.  I imagine we'll spend lots of time at our beloved Jumpin' Jax as well;)
Also, (HUGE thanks to pinterest)....I have found so many cute and fun activities to keep us busy all summer long!  And last..Union Station is getting a really nice Aquirium Exhibit within the next month or so which I'm super excited for and I think the boys will love it!  In reality we will probably only get a few of these things crossed off of our wish list but at least I know we will keep plenty busy.  It's going to be a great summer!

Anyways, I hope everybody has a wonderful Spring!
Enjoy this gorgeous weather while you can!  It makes you feel so much better at the end of the day if you can get out for a few minutes:)  I know it makes me sooo happy!

If anybody would like to join us in any activities this summer let me know!
We can set dates and it will be so much fun:)

Hugs and Much Love!
